BC Cup Thankyou Thanks to all of the volunteers that worked so hard to make the BC Cup #1 a very successful race. We hosted skiers from all over British Columbia this past weekend and at the end of the race weekend had so many positive comments from participants. In the days leading up to the race we faced power outages, heavy snow and downed trees. Thanks to all Larch Hills Volunteers that helped make the weekend happen!
Tree Clearing Volunteers needed Due to the weather last week Larch Hills is faced with the daunting task of clearing many fallen trees off of the ski trails. Anyone interested in helping out with this please contact Karen at manager@skilarchills.ca or 236-586-5711. Your name will be added to a list and we will contact you when needed.
Trail Conditions
As many of you have heard or read, Larch Hills need help with many trees on the trail after last week’s winter storm. Please check the trail conditions on the website before heading out. Also, use extreme caution when skiing on trails. Watch for downed trees across trails and branches that may be sticking up through the snow. We appreciate your patience while we get everything cleared. It may take a few weeks for everything to be adequately cleared. We are working hard to try and return the trails to normal conditions.
School Program
The school children will be on the slopes beginning Thursday, January 9. There is still a need for volunteers to host with the groups for the following dates: Monday 13th, Thursday 16th, Monday 20th, Tuesday 21st, Thursday 23rd and Monday 27th. Please contact Antje at:antjebreugem2@gmail.com
