We are excited to announce the LHNS classic Lantern Ski is back!
Mark your calendars for December 29th from 5PM to 9PM. Volunteer, or ski this magical route (Choose from 1KM, 5KM or 6KM) across bogs and track-set trails lit by the gentle glow of kerosene lanterns.
Snowshoers: the snowshoe trails are not lit; and you will need to use your own headlamps. Please avoid groomed ski trails except for crossing them or in emergencies.
- The Salmon Arm Food Banks can always use our help. Entry to the event will be by donation.
- Bring a mug for hot chocolate in the Chalet afterwards, and some Christmas baking to share.
- The lights for the lit trails will be turned on at 9PM if you would like to go for a ski under our big new lights!
