Skiing in the 36th Annual Reino Keski-Salmi Loppet on Saturday, January 25…what an ideal way to kick off 2020! With all of our recent snow, the conditions at the Larch Hills will be perfect for a magical day on the trails. Come out to enjoy the day and the camaraderie of some of our over 1000 club members or renew friendships with annual visitors.  Volunteers needed for the Reino Keski-Salmi Loppet Â
The 36th Reino Keski-Salmi Loppet is less than two weeks away, and we are seeking more volunteers to help us pull off this fun and family-friendly community event! Some of the positions that need filling include timing, bib collection, controllers on course, and handing out refreshments at the South Hub aid station. A complimentary hot lunch (soup, beef on a bun), a pool/hot tub pass, and wine and appies at the community centre are all part of the volunteer package. If you want to join the party and are able to help for a few hours on Saturday, January 25th please contact Louise Bruns at louisebruns@gmail.com.

The Biathlon Group would like to assure you there is not a safety concern when you see them using their rifles around the Chalet. . The equipment that the team practices with is a laser rifle.  If you see them, please stop and take a few moments to watch this very interesting and talented group of individuals.
