The LHNS Trail Lighting Committee is excited to roll out the #LIGHTLARCHHILLS – SPONSOR A POLE! campaign.  Please read the LHNS Trail Lighting Project brochure and consider sponsoring this worthwhile project.  We have partnered with Nordiq Canada so that we can offer online credit card donation and charitable donation tax receipts here.  Nordiq Canada will also accept donations by cheque for anyone unable to donate online or by credit card.  Directed donation forms can be downloaded from the LHNS website.  If Charitable Donation Tax Receipts are not required, donations can be made directly to Larch Hills Nordic Society.  Please specify that the donation is for the Trail Lighting Project.  All donations of $50 or more will be recognized on a Donor Board.  Donations of $1000 or more will be recognized with name plaques on individual light poles.  See the brochure for Donor Recognition details!

The LHNS Trail Lighting Committee is organizing a Holiday Concert on Friday December 20th  from 7:00-9:15 pm at the Nexus at First (United Church) in Salmon Arm.  We will provide dessert treats and drinks during the Intermission.  Our vision is an event that brings all kinds of people from the community together in celebration of the Holiday Season – and an opportunity for LHNS to showcase the wealth of entertaining talent of our members and others in the community while raising funds for the Trail Lighting Project.  The venue will accommodate close to 400 people.  Admission will be by donation with a suggested minimum of $10.
We are looking for performers!  Adults and kids, individuals and groups, singers, musicians (the Grand piano will be available), storytellers, dancers….anything that will make people smile.  The performances can be Holiday Season oriented, but that is not a requirement.  This will be a low key, fun event.  Please contact Randi Ostby ( as soon as possible if you or someone you know would be willing to perform.  All help is appreciated.
