Larch Hills eNews – Nominations Needed for Trail Lighting Funding by Sept 22nd
KRAFT HEINZ PROJECT PLAY – LARCH HILLS NORDIC SOCIETY TRAIL LIGHTING PROJECT – REQUEST FOR SUPPORT
Hello Larch Hills Nordic Society Members,
Thank-you so much to all of you who have taken the time to submit a nomination for the Larch Hills Nordic Society Trail Lighting Project to Kraft Heinz Project Play. We currently have close to 100 nominations. We are nearing the nomination deadline (Sept 22nd) and we still need your help to show support for this project. Our Community Rally page has been one of the busiest in this competition, and we are very hopeful that the Larch Hills Trail Lighting Project will be selected as one of the finalists. Each of the final four projects is guaranteed to receive a $25,000 award to put toward the project (which would be a great start – it takes a lot of work to raise that amount of money). If we win, the Larch Hills Nordic Society will receive $250,000 toward the project. If that happens we could potentially have some trail lighting by next year!!
Please consider submitting a nomination for this project. Anybody 13 years old or older can submit a nomination and every nomination counts!! The Trail Lighting Committee has been working hard to spread the word, but for this type of competition we need everyone in the club to get involved, and to get others involved.

We recognize that people are busy, and that the prospect of writing a nomination might seem like too much work. Fortunately the nomination process isn’t too demanding – a few sentences to answer each question is all that is required. If you don’t know what to write, you can find a lot of ideas by reading a few of the nominations already posted. Picture postings are also really appreciated.
