IMPORTANT! News from CCBC with updated Sports Guidelines
New Regulations for the sport sector
ADULTS are limited to maximum of 3 participants.
CHILDREN and YOUTH programs have gone back to Phase 2.
All Social Distancing has been updated to 3 metres
Message from CCBC:
As many of you know, today the BC gov’t has updated the rules for the sport sector:
For children and youth programs/practices/training, sport is back to Phase 2. This means physical distancing, which has been updated to 3 metres.
For adults (19+), there is no team sports, indoors or outdoors. Although cross country skiing is an “individual” sport, viaSport has made it clear that adults should not “gather” for sport (3+ people), e.g. you can’t meet for a Masters training session. If in doubt, remember that the intent of the Order is to minimize group interactions. o Unfortunately, because a line had to be drawn in the sand, this also means that athletes 19+ can’t train together with their younger teammates for now.
