PLEASE HELP LARCH HILLS NORDIC SOCIETY TO WIN $250,000!
Thank-you for spreading the news that Larch Hills Nordic Society is a finalist in Kraft Heinz Project Play 2019. We have the opportunity to win $250,000, but we really need your support. This is a heartfelt plea to all Larch Hills Nordic Society members to spend time voting for Larch Hills Nordic Society Trail Lighting Project at the Kraft Heinz Project Play website (www.kraftheinzprojectplay.com) between Friday Oct 18th at 9 am and Sunday Oct 20th at 9 am this week. Although all of us would rather spend our time doing something different than online voting for hours for a contest, a prize of $250,000 would have a profound impact on our club and our trail lighting project. Fundraising in a small community can be challenging and the opportunity to gain this amount of money at once doesn’t come along often. If we win this contest we could have lit trails next winter.
We think it is possible for us to win the Grand Prize if most Society members commit time to voting. We must be prepared to spend some hours on our electronic devices and vote many times. We need to ask our friends, families, students, and co-workers to vote for 15 minutes. In past years the fastest supporters have been able to cast 150 votes in 15 minutes and very dedicated supporters have voted up to 5000 times in total. Salmon Arm likely needs to receive over 500,000 votes to have a chance to win.
Here is what you can do to help:
Vote for at least 30 minutes (some members are pledging to vote for 15 hours or more and some are taking time off work to vote!)
It’s that time of year again! Almost 400 skiers are registered with Larch Hills already. Read below to see how Larch Hills could benefit by having everyone registered by December 1. Please pay before you start skiing.
~$15k of xc ski loot is up for grabs. Which 6 clubs will win on Dec 1? (15 different clubs have won in the past 3 years.)
Group A: Massive move by Larch Hills, moving from the back and passing first Caledonia and then Sovereign, and they’re now in 2nd place. Telemark is still in first. For now. Kimberley just got hit with snow, so expect them to get very keen too.
