Come Watch Natalie Wilkie Race in the Paralympics.
Salmar Classic Theatre is livestreaming two races:
Thursday March 10 from 7:45-9:15 pm – 12.5km Biathlon Race start at approximately 8:15.
Friday March 11 from 6:50 – 8:20 pm – 10 km Skate. Race start at approximately 7:20 pm.
This event is open to the Public. Vaccine Passports are required to enter the Theatre. See poster here for more details.
Larch Hill Safety Committee New Safety Equipment
Two generous donations came in to assist with the purchase of two new pieces of equipment.
A very big Thank You to our members for all of the support, both financial and in volunteering to respond to emergency situations. You are what keeps our Safety Host Program successful.
The Equinox Rescue Sled was paid in full by a member donation and now sits proudly at the back of the chalet. This is quite an upgrade for transporting injured parties off the trails.
A Ferno Full Body Splint ws purchased with a donation to cover 65% of the cost. The Rescue Lite Splint enables full body immobilisation for all sizes of patients and also includes enhanced lifting options and capacity for patient transfer.
