2022 01 29: Support the Larch Hills Race Team 50/50
Larch Hills Junior Ski Team
If you have ever been skiing or snowshoeing at Larch Hills on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday you may have seen groups of kids skiing and wearing a lot of Larch Hills Nordic Society apparel. These skiers would be members of the Larch Hills Junior Ski Team. The Nordic Society is proud to have a ski team with 90 junior racers! This is the largest team of any club in the Province of BC and one of the biggest in Canada as well.
The team is led by Glenn Bond, who is contracted as the Head Coach of the ski team. The groups are led by an army of 24 volunteer coaches! They are also supported by a very active Parent Committee that oversees all decisions made for the team.
The Larch Hills Junior Ski Team is currently raising money for expenses through the Cross Country BC 50/50 fundraising drive. This is a simple way to help support local youth sports in our community.
Currently the pot is over $6,000 – wnner takes 50%
