The fundraiser in conjunction with Cross Country BC is having wonderful results. Here is CCBC’s update from earlier this week. We have already increased our total to $11,180 since then.
CCBC Update on the Club Fundraiser:
The total raised has doubled in the past week in the Club Fundraiser and 6 more clubs have jumped on board, for a total of 18 BC clubs. $65,000 has already been raised, from 331 donors! (See chart below.)
The top 5 fundraisers in the nation are currently Nelson, Larch Hills (Salmon Arm), Bulkley Valley (Smithers), 100 Mile, and Williams Lake. Nelson has the most donations, at 118 and Larch Hills has the single largest, at $5,000.

Jackrabbits Toque Design Contest 2022
Deadline Noon on March 11, 2021
We invite all Bunnyrabbit and Jackrabbit skiers to participate in designing the 2022 Jackrabbit Toque, which will be worn by 10,500 Bunnyrabbit and Jackrabbit skiers across Canada!
The criteria for entering in the contest is as follows:
Contestants must be currently enrolled in a Nordiq Canada Jackrabbit or Bunnyrabbit program
Contestants must be between the ages of 5-9
Artwork must be of original work
Selection process and timelines:
Designs should be submitted to Ilona Gyapay: igyapay@nordiqcanada.ca by noon, MST on March 11, 2021.
Nordiq Canada will select 10 final designs and voting will occur via Survey Monkey. The voting period will run from March 12 to March 19, 2021 until noon (MST). Please remember that only Nordiq Canada members are eligible to vote!
Announcement of the ‘winning’ toque design will be posted on Nordiq Canada’s Facebook and website.
