Dancing with the Shuswap Stars 2026!

10 years ago, our club – led by Val and Barb Heckrodt launched Dancing with the Shuswap Stars (DWTSS) to raise funds for the chalet expansion. This amazing event contributed significant funds towards the expansion of our beautiful chalet. We passed the fundraising torch and opportunity to Shuswap Hospice.

This spring, the DWTSS organizing committee reached out, wondering if LHNS could put together a team to participate in the 10th annual event. We are thankful to master skiers and dancers Val and Barb Heckrodt, LH board members Kari Wilkinson and Kate Ritchie, and our amazing youth racers Madeleine Wilkie and Étoile Brown for agreeing to participate.

While they are learning their dance routine – it will be our job to help support them in their quest to raise funds (AKA – sell STARS) in support of Shuswap Hospice.
