My name is Jana Muller, and I just started as Program Administrator at Larch Hills Nordic Society at the beginning of November. Before I meet you all in person, I would like to introduce myself a little:
My husband and I have been living with our two-year-old daughter in Salmon Arm since 2022 and we are enjoying life in the Shuswap tremendously. I was born and raised in Germany and moved to Canada over 6 years ago. Since then, the winter seasons have been highlights of each year. We love the winter and always await the first snow fall with excitement.
Though I am an experienced downhill skier, I am pretty much a cross-country beginner. I get forward and enjoy myself, but switching from fat powder skis to the skinny cross-country skis is an adventure. I welcome any tips and advice from your side and I’m looking forward to making progress over the season.
The role as programs administrator/coordinator is new to me, so bear with me throughout the next few weeks. I’ll do my best to fulfill my part to make this a fun and safe winter season for all of us.
So far, everyone has been very welcoming and I’m looking forward to getting to know you all. Please stop by at the chalet (Tuesdays and Saturdays) or email me (programs@skilarchhills.ca) with any questions or suggestion regarding me or the programs.
