Larch Hills Nordic Society Lantern Ski Committee Looking for Assistance Sunday, October 20 10 am – 2 pm
Committee Chairs are looking to gather 6 volunteers to assist in the cleaning of the Lanterns in prep for the Lantern Ski held in December. It is best if we can work outside the bunker so planning this before it gets too cold.
The tasks included in the servicing is cleaning glass and checking wicks and washers. Fuelling the lanterns will take place a few days prior to the actual event in December.
The committee is also looking for a new co-chair for 2025 to join Kari Wilkinson. LHNS gives great thanks to Kerry Miller for the many years adding up the hours of volunteering she has contributed to this event..
