Nordiq – CCBC Club Fundraiser
Larch Hills continues to Lead the Race with $11,881
Thank you to everyone who has made generous donations to our fundraising efforts to purchasing two brand new 2023 BRP, Skidoo Skandic SWT900 machines to add to our grooming fleet. The financial goal is to raise up to $40,000. A second Ginzu Groomer was delivered yesterday and going forward our tracksetters will have the option of taking two machines with Ginzu groomers attached to assist the PB in keeping our trails in great condition. This will be particularly valuable in the early season conditions when the PB is not able to operate.
Nordiq Canada provides the platform for receiving donations and as a registered charity, can provide the donor with a tax receipt.
THANK YOU!! To The Larch Hills Nordic Small Equipment Crew
The Executive would like to acknowldege the huge contribution from the SEC gang (previously the Extra Gang) who have put in an incredible number of hours this season when the PB has been down. David Millard and Wayne Buchannan have been out multiple days this week keeping the trails groomed. Two snowmobiles and Ginzus require two operators vs one for the PB so the tracksetter volunteer time has been doubled. David and Wayne normally work together 1 or 2 days a week. This week they have relied on additional members from the SEC gang to enable them to groom every day. These long days start before 9 am and finish between 2 and 3 pm. Please give them a wave and a shout of thanks if they pass you by on the trails this weekend.
Here is the SEC earlier in the season packing and then setting classic tracks with the Ginzus.
