2022 Reino Keski Salmi Loppet Goes Virtual for 2nd year
We have made the difficult decision to cancel our competetive Loppet again this year due to rising Covid cases and potential restrictions. Therefore we will again be hosting a “Virtual” RKS Loppet for 2022!
If you are keen to keep your Loppet streak going, then from Sunday January 16th to Sunday January 30th we will make it easy for you to get out and ski the various courses by marking them with our standard Loppet signage. We will be marking the following routes:
This is not a timed race, but if you participate in our “Virtual” RKS Loppet, please e-mail a photo, your name, and the course(s) completed to manager@skilarchhills.ca and get entered for some great draw prizes. Remember to post photos of yourself along the route on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/SkiLarchHills/ or tag us on Instagram www.instagram.com/skilarchhills/.
If you would like to support the STA fundraising event this year they would love to hear from you. Cut-off date for donation of items is: January 29, 2022.
“We hope you will consider joining us again for our 2022 event with either a monetary donation or an item for the silent auction. We sure appreciate either – but of course, monetary support goes directly to trail projects in the Shuswap AND you get a tax receipt for donations over $20.00. Bonus! (Please remember to put ‘Auction2022’ in the memo of your cheques or message in your e-transfer to membership@shuswaptrails.com)”
