JACKRABBITS 2020-2021
The Larch Hills Nordic Society is currently planning to run Jackrabbits this ski season with strict Covid-19 guidelines. It is likely some changes may be made to the numbers we are allowed to have participating during a session. There may also be changes to the day and times of the sessions. For example, there may need to be two separate groups run at different times to meet number restrictions. We are advising that if you would like your child to participate in Jackrabbits this season you register as early as possible. If we need to restrict the number of participants we will go with those registered first and work down the list.  The Jackrabbit Program is currently looking for some new Jackrabbit leaders. For information on becoming a Jackrabbit leader contact Luke Heckrodt at lhjackrabbits@gmail.com  If you need financial assistance for your child to participate in the Jackrabbit program please apply to the funding organizations below. This is something that needs to be done well in advance of the season because confirmation from these organizations can take some time.  https://kidsportcanada.ca/british-columbia/provincial-fund/  https://jumpstart.canadiantire.ca/pages/apply-for-individual-child-grants Â

CROSS COUNTRY BC KAL TIRE PARTNERSHIP
Cross Country BC has once again partnered with KAL Tire to offer members a discount on winter tires. Note that this offer is good until September 30th, 2020. Over the past two seasons KAL Tire has generously contributed money to BC Cross Country Ski Clubs to help run their youth programs. The Larch Hills Nordic Society was a recipient of this funding.
