BC Cup #2 – Feb 7/8th

Please note that there will be restricted access to the ski and snowshoe trails around the stadium and on those trails used for the races during the weekend. The vast majority of the trail network will not be impacted and be open to the public:

 

Trail Access

Saturday February 7th

The stadium area in front of the chalet will be closed to recreational skiers and snowshoers from 9am until approximately 3pm while the race is on.  Recreational Skiers will need to use Woodlot Ramble and Chalet Loop to get around the stadium to access the northern trail network. Snowshoers will also need to go around and will need to use Lucy and Stumpy trails to access the trail network. Access to the Moose Trail is not feasible.  

 

Sunday February 8th

There will be access to the north trails for recreational skiers through the center of the stadium. There will be attendants at the race trail crossings at the end of the stadium to guide you through to prevent any collisions with racers. Snowshoers will not have access to the Moose Trail and will still need to go around the stadium using the Lucy and Stumpy Trails.

Parking

Parking will not be permitted in front of the chalet across the top of the parking lot from Friday, February 6th until Sunday February 8th.

Dogs
Please note that NO DOGS will be permitted on any snowshoe or ski trails while races are occurring = NO DOGS until after 3pm Saturday and after 1 pm Sunday!

The BC Cup organizer team is still looking for volunteers, helping with parking on Saturday and Sunday to keep the numbers of vehicles in order.

General Meeting

LHNS General Meeting at the chalet on Tuesday, February 10th at 7:00pm. Come up and enjoy an evening ski and then attend the meeting afterwards. Please note that this meeting is 30min earlier than usual.
