Once again, CCBC is running a membership drive contest. Help to keep Larch Hills in the running and possibly win some cool prizes. By registering before December 8th you can also take advantage of early season prices. Here are the standings so far:
Group A: Telemark and Sovereign are neck & neck, with Telemark slightly ahead. Not far back are Fernie and Overlander, and then Kimberley and Caledonia. Group B: Golden has taken the early lead, followed by a chase-pack of Revelstoke, Larch Hills, Black Jack, and Nelson. Group C: Hollyburn has jumped in front, with Strathcona, Nickel Plate, and Cariboo giving chase. Group D: Whiskey Jack just in front of Whistler and Nordic Racers, followed by Sunset Ridge. Group E: Sun Peaks has the lead, with Vancouver Skiers and Sea to Sky tucked right in behind. Kaslo is trying to get in the mix as well. Group F: Manning is out of the gate first.

Most of the work done at Larch Hill is completed by volunteers. If you are interested in helping out please email manager@skilarchhills.ca. All materials will be covered through the LH Budget. We are currently looking for volunteers for the following projects:
1. Tom’s Shelter Committee – Tom’s Shelter needs to be dismantled and disposed of. If a committee is interested in building a new structure there they can start planning for that.
2. Penti’s Shelter at the South Hub needs repairs. Some of its windows were broken in the summer and glass needs to be cleaned up and replaced with new glass.
3. Single track signage needs maintenance.
4. Cec’s Cabin roof needs work near the chimney.
